Each of us bring a unique perspective to our work, enriched by personal experiences and inspiration.

Behind every pled that leaves our workshop are the hands and hearts of one of us. We believe that true elegance comes from the depth of the stories we create and share together. Our journey is full of discovery, learning and sharing… And we want to share this journey with you.

Meet the creator of your elegance

Kateřina Urban Samková

Kateřina is the founder and co-owner of the my.pled brand, which brings a breath of fresh air to the world of fashion with its unique approach to elegance and freedom. Her path to her own brand was not a straight one. Throughout her professional life she worked as a communications manager for large corporate companies, however, her passion for creativity and the desire to realize her own projects always led her in new directions.

One of her most successful projects was the GUD Children's Art Gallery, which focused on interactive inspiration with the works of prominent artists. This innovative initiative, which traveled around the world, not only encouraged creativity in the little ones, but also highlighted Katerina's ability to think outside established conventions and bring something completely new and refreshing to the market.

Eventually, she adopted as her life credo “Dream your own dream. Or someone else will hire you to dream their dream" and together with Romana, who is an exceptional businesswoman, they decided to move the my.pled brand into the world of business.

Kateřina: "For me, fashion is not only about beauty, but also about practicality and accessibility. I love the creative process and the challenge of finding new ways to inspire and delight our we.pled women. The whole process is based a little selfishly on our needs, on our life stories , but it's all the more authentic."

Romana Fetting

Romana is a successful entrepreneur and mother of 4 children who has been developing various brands in Eastern and Central Europe for almost 30 years. Her expertise is retail chain, business development and top management. In 2013, she founded Vinařství Pod Hradem in Pálav, where, in addition to world-award-winning wines, she was the first in Bohemia to offer wine lovers romantic accommodation in barrels right on the vineyard. She later sold the successful start-up in order to focus more on brand development and her family. Her life is rich in stories, sometimes almost unbelievable. She likes to travel a lot and is a practitioner and pragmatist at heart.

Romana: "When I saw the plaids from my.pled, I immediately fell in love with them. I've always been around the fashion industry, and being a total practitioner, I was totally taken by the elegant practical cut that just holds. You can always wrap yourself in a plaid and feel completely comfortable. I bought 4 plaids in one month because I simply became dependent on them. And so, it didn't take long and I became the co-owner of my.pled.

What is important to me? To offer women what I myself believe in and what works for me. Our brand is timeless, it is created for well-being, comfort and elegance. What we do not try on ourselves, or what we are not convinced of, we do not sell at all. We are gradually adding new collections and new products that complement and enrich the story. Our rewards are satisfied returning customers and that is the greatest reward for me."

 Hana Dolénková

Hana is already a well-known face to many of you, our valued customers. She is the heart of my.pled, and as a specialist in client care, Hana is not only the first point of contact for those looking for the right plaid or outfit, but also an invaluable support when handling e-shop orders, phone orders or video consultations.

Since 2019, she has been an inseparable part of our my.pled family. Her extreme friendliness and attitude won the hearts of many. Hanička always finds a way to solve any dilemma, no question is a bad question for her and she always helps clients find the right choice.

She too lives her rich life story full of experience in the field of business and services. She ran her own boarding house in her native Ostrava, is a mother and a loving grandmother.

Hana is an example of how passion for work and a sincere desire to help others can create not only a successful career, but also meaningful relationships with the people we meet. Her constant efforts to improve the customer experience and her ability to become a trusted advisor are the reasons why my.pled customers repeatedly choose her for their purchases.
